Arrow, the DC Comics superhero TV series starring Oliver Queen, is one of the few DC properties to have been adapted into a feature film.
According to Variety, it is set to be released on March 4, 2019.
It is written by Alan Taylor and directed by John Lee Hancock.
According to Deadline, “The film is being written by John Lechtenberg and is co-produced by Legendary Pictures, Warner Bros. Television and Columbia Pictures.
The script is being directed by Michael Arndt and Jonathan Schwartz, who previously worked on films such as The Imitation Game, The Impostor and The Conjuring.”
Arrow is the longest-running DC TV series to be adapted into an animated feature, having aired for more than 50 seasons.
It has featured several heroes from both DC and DC Super Heroes.
The show has also received numerous awards including Best Animated Series, Best Animated Film, Best Drama Series and Best Television Series.
