The Glowing television series that aired on HBO from 2012 to 2015 is coming back for a third season.
The show, which focused on three men who went on to become stars, ended in 2018.
It stars Michael C. Hall, Andrew Rannells and Ben McKenzie.
The show was one of the most talked-about in recent years, and many of its fans have been clamoring for a fourth season.
“We were incredibly proud of the legacy we left behind and the incredible talent that came from this show,” executive producer Scott M. Gimple said in a statement.
“This will be our fourth season and we’re incredibly excited about the possibilities this franchise opens for us and the people who love it.
We’re excited to continue our work on the beloved series and look forward to bringing it back to the screen again.”
The Glowing series, which was produced by Gimple, was based on the HBO series The Wire, but was not as popular as the show, said Rob Thomas, the executive producer of The Wire and its sequel.
Glowing was the first TV series in HBO history to reach its full 10-episode run on a single network, he said.
HBO said the show was the most-watched scripted series in the history of cable television.
