Scorpion TV, the sci-fi-set series that starred Scorpion star Johnny Law in the title role, is picking up where its predecessor left off.
The latest episode of the sci fi drama series, titled Scorpion (which is being co-written by the actor) aired on Wednesday, May 20, at 8:35pm IST.
In the episode, Law is the sole survivor of a space mission that’s been postponed by an outbreak of the pandemic.
In the episode he plays a new partner who is a survivor of the same mission.
This time around, Law finds himself a bit further away from the action and the mission.
The series, starring Law, was produced by Paramount and is being produced by Sony Pictures Television and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
The new episode features a flashback of the first mission to Mars where Law’s character is forced to survive the mission and the subsequent quarantine, after his alien crewmates discover that they are infected with a virus that causes cancer.
The episode also features a montage of the crew on the surface of Mars, where they struggle with the new infection.
The show, which stars Law, Dwayne Johnson and newcomer Kaitlin Olson, has been described by CBS Entertainment president David Madden as a “great series” and “the first of many exciting episodes” for the Scorpion TV franchise.
